Recently, Liuzhou Zhisheng Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhisheng Electronics") successfully completed the expiration recertification audits for the IATF16949:2016 Automotive Quality Management System and ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System. From pre-audit company-wide system training and full-process self-inspection and rectification to on-site audit acceptance, the company won high recognition from the audit team with a rigorous attitude, standardized management, and solid execution, successfully renewing the two major system certifications. This lays a solid management foundation for the company to continue deepening its presence in the automotive electronics field and implementing the high-quality development strategy.
Founded in April 2019 through a joint investment by Lihe Group and Wuxi Longsheng Technology Co., Ltd., Zhisheng Electronics is an integrated enterprise integrating production, agency, and marketing. Focusing on the development of the automotive industry, it is committed to the R&D, production, sales, and technical services of automotive electronic products. The company boasts strong economic strength and an elite team with high-tech professional knowledge, providing customers with all-round and 24/7 services, and serving first-class domestic and foreign customers. Adhering to the core values of "Innovation · Excellence · Cooperation · Win-Win", Zhisheng Electronics specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of core products such as exhaust gas temperature sensors, EDR (Event Data Recorder) black boxes, and differential pressure sensors. It serves top-tier customers including SAIC-GM-Wuling, Bosch, and JMC, with an 80% supply rate of exhaust gas temperature sensors to individual host manufacturers and an annual production capacity exceeding 3 million units. As the core framework for the company's quality and environmental management, the effective operation of the IATF16949 and ISO14001 systems is directly related to product reliability, customer satisfaction, and green development compliance. This recertification audit is of great significance for the company's strategic implementation.
Empower All Employees to Consolidate the Foundation of System Operation
To ensure that the systems continuously meet standard requirements and the company's business development needs, a special working group was established at the start of the recertification process to lead company-wide system training. The training focused on the process approach, risk control, and quality traceability requirements of IATF16949:2016, as well as the core points of environmental factor identification, energy conservation and emission reduction, and compliance management in ISO14001:2015. Hierarchical training programs were designed for different positions: management focused on system planning and strategic implementation, front-line production employees on operational compliance and quality control, R&D teams on design compliance combined with the V-model R&D process and patent technology transformation, and procurement, logistics, and other departments on supply chain collaboration to optimize system connection.
During the training, instructors conducted in-depth analysis combined with the company's actual cases—from the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) traceability function of the automated exhaust gas temperature sensor production line to the self-inspection and mutual inspection processes for key processes of EGR temperature sensors; from the environmentally compliant operation of high and low-temperature test chambers in the laboratory to the environmental protection requirements for dust treatment and waste classification in the production workshop. This enabled employees to deeply understand the close connection between system standards and daily work. Through diverse forms such as theoretical teaching, on-site practical exercises, and case review seminars, the overall system awareness of employees was significantly enhanced, laying a solid foundation for the audit preparation.
Full-Process Self-Inspection to Optimize System Operation Efficiency
After the training, the special working group led various departments in conducting comprehensive self-inspection and rectification. In accordance with the IATF16949:2016 standard, key links such as product design and development, production process control, quality traceability, and customer feedback handling were thoroughly inspected: the compliance records of the V-model R&D process were sorted out, process audit and product audit reports for core products such as exhaust gas temperature sensors and differential pressure sensors were improved, and the full-process traceability chain of the MES system was optimized to ensure that every link from raw material inspection to finished product delivery meets quality requirements. Combined with the company's 14 utility model patents and 2 computer software copyrights, the synergy between R&D and the systems was verified to ensure the synchronization of technological innovation and quality compliance.
In the self-inspection of the ISO14001:2015 system, the focus was on energy conservation and emission reduction, the operation of environmental protection facilities, and environmental compliance during production: the operation records of dust treatment equipment and sewage discharge systems were verified, energy-saving schemes in the production workshop were optimized, and the environmental factor accounting book was updated to meet the green production requirements of the automotive industry. For the detailed problems identified in the self-inspection, each department formulated a "list-based" rectification plan with clear responsible persons and completion time limits, and promoted continuous optimization of system operation through cross-departmental collaboration.
Rigorous Audits to Demonstrate Management Effectiveness
During the audit, the audit team from the certification body conducted a comprehensive assessment of the company's system operation through document review, on-site inspection, employee interviews, and other methods. In the document review phase, the audit team carefully examined various materials including quality manuals, procedure documents, incoming inspection records, product audit reports, and environmental management plans to confirm the adaptability of the system documents to actual business. In the on-site inspection phase, the audit team went deep into the production lines of exhaust gas temperature sensors, EGR temperature sensors, differential pressure sensors, etc., and inspected the operation of the MES system, quality control of key processes, and operation of environmental protection facilities on-site. Special attention was paid to the compliance of key processes such as automatic welding, X-ray inspection, and high-temperature testing of exhaust gas temperature sensors, as well as the management specifications of equipment such as semi-anechoic chambers and burner + vibration test benches in the laboratory. During the interviews, the audit team conducted in-depth exchanges with key employees from various departments to fully understand the implementation of the systems in daily work.
The audit team highly affirmed the effectiveness of Zhisheng Electronics' system operation: first, the deep integration of quality management and production operations, achieving stable and controllable product quality through strict first-piece, patrol, and final inspections, key process control, and implementation of the AQL sampling standard, while maintaining a high supply rate with an annual production capacity of 3 million exhaust gas temperature sensors; second, solid and effective environmental management measures, with energy conservation and emission reduction, waste treatment, and other work during production meeting industry standards and practicing the concept of green production; third, efficient synergy between R&D and the systems, ensuring the compliance of the entire new product design and development process relying on university-enterprise cooperation resources and independent patent technology; fourth, a clear customer-oriented approach, with system operation closely focusing on the quality and environmental requirements of core customers to ensure cooperation stability. The audit team believed that the company's system operation is standardized and effective, fully meeting the recertification requirements, and recommended certification registration. A small number of optimization suggestions were put forward, and the company has formulated and promoted the rectification plan in a timely manner.
Promote Improvement Through Audits and Empower Strategic Upgrading
The successful passing of the IATF16949 and ISO14001 system recertification audits is not only an authoritative recognition of the company's quality and environmental management capabilities but also a strong support for the company's "gasoline and diesel dual-development" strategy and the expansion of new energy and non-road sectors. As a high-tech enterprise, Zhisheng Electronics will take this audit as an opportunity to continuously deepen the effectiveness of system operation, integrating standard requirements into the entire process of product R&D, production and manufacturing, and market services: supporting the industrialization project of intelligent exhaust gas temperature sensors through system guarantees, facilitating the cooperative development of on-board power amplifiers with Suzhou Tsinghua Research Institute (Huayan Huisheng); enhancing competitiveness in overseas markets through system compliance to support the export business expansion of sensor series products; continuously improving the quality of core products through system optimization to consolidate the cooperative trust with core customers such as SAIC-GM-Wuling and Bosch.
Looking forward to the future, Zhisheng Electronics will always adhere to the concept of "Innovation · Excellence · Cooperation · Win-Win", take systems as the guide, quality as the foundation, and green development as the cornerstone, continuously enhance core competitiveness, and steadily move forward on the path of high-quality development in the automotive electronics industry, creating greater value for customers and contributing more to industry development.
