The Water Temperature Sensor (WTS) is a key sensing component in automotive engine cooling systems and new energy vehicle (NEV) battery thermal management systems. It real-time monitors the temperature of coolant/cooling water, converts the temperature signal into an electrical signal, and transmits it to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Battery Management System (BMS). It provides accurate data support for fuel injection optimization, fan on-off control, and battery thermal balance adjustment, effectively preventing engine overheating, improving fuel economy, and ensuring battery operation safety. It is applicable to various vehicle types such as fuel vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and pure electric vehicles.

Accurate Temperature Collection: Monitoring range covers -40℃ to 130℃ (up to 150℃ for custom models), with a temperature measurement accuracy of ±1℃ (normal temperature range 25℃-85℃). It adopts NTC thermistor or PT1000 platinum resistor sensing elements to capture subtle changes in water temperature in real time;
Stable Signal Output: Supports analog (0-5V/0-10V) or digital (PWM/CAN bus) signal output, with strong compatibility with ECU/BMS. The signal response time is <200ms, ensuring rapid adjustment of the control system;
Fault Self-Diagnosis: When the sensor has a short circuit, open circuit, or measurement deviation exceeding the limit, it automatically sends fault codes (e.g., P0115/P0116) to facilitate maintenance personnel in quickly locating the problem;
Environmental Adaptability: It has the ability to resist coolant corrosion, vibration (10-2000Hz), and electromagnetic interference (EMC Class 3), adapting to the high-temperature and humid complex working conditions of the engine compartment.
